Easter 2012

Talan, Jackson and Mason at the Springville Easter Egg Hunt. It has become our Easter tradition to go to the Springville Easter Egg hunt with the Pierce Family.

Lincoln didn't care about filling his basket, as soon as he picked up a piece he wanted it opened so he could eat it.
This year we were lucky enough that someone in our group won a bike. The ironic things is that just a couple of weeks ago Hayden got a new bike for his birthday. Oh well!
After a fun filled day playing with the neighborhood kids we came home and dyed some eggs.
Talan had a great time coloring the eggs this year.
Even Jason got in on the fun.
The Easter Bunny didn't miss our house this year. He brought the boys new church cloths, candy and some fun toys.
Lincoln could care less about what was in his basket, he was too busy shoveling chocolate in his mouth as fast as he could.
Talan checking out what was in his basket.
After the morning of stuffing ourselves with chocolate we played a few games of Operation.
Jason helping Linx gather the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid in the backyard.
Candy Everywhere.
The boys fighting over who can get the most eggs.
All of my boys in their Sunday Best.
On our way to church.
In addition to celebrating Easter we got to celebrate Jason's Birthday. Talan picked out the perfect cake mix and helped me make the cake for Jason's birthday.
The boys helping their dad blow out the candles. I think we re-lit and blew out the candles about 10 times.
Talan was so excited to have Jason open his present.
Of course the boys had to help Jason open it.
Just a tissue box full of money with a note that read "Don't Blow it all in one place."
Jason and Talan counting up the loot. Happy Birthday Jason!!!
We had such a fun Easter weekend. On Friday Jason and I only worked half a day. We spent the day eating burgers at Red Robin and watching The Hunger Games. Saturday was filled with Easter Egg Hunts with our friends, Egg Dying and hoping that the Easter Bunny wouldn't miss our house. Sunday was full of excitement. The day started with finding Easter baskets, eating way too much candy, searching for eggs and getting dressed in our new Sunday best. That afternoon we spent at church enjoying our wards Easter program. After church we went to grandma and grandpa Christensens' Easter/birthday dinner. It was a great weekend to spend with our family and friends.
