Luck of the Irish!

This year Talan and I decided that we were going to make a trap and catch a Leprechaun this year. Talan made this trap he decorated it with drawings and some Irish stickers.
We set up the trap and put some Lucky Charms in it to lure in the Leprechaun. We were determined to catch him this year and get his pot of gold.
Lincoln didn't want to be left out of the fun.
Unfortunately we woke up the next morning and we didn't catch the leprechaun. Instead he left us a stuffed doll and a trail of Rolos and Shamrocks.
Even without our pot of gold we still had a good time at our St Patty's day breakfast.
Talan was a little disappointed that we didn't catch him but a little relived also. He wanted the gold and the wishes but not the creepy Leprechaun that came with it.
Our little friend also left us green foot prints around the house and turned some of our food green.
Talan wanted to take pictures and text them to people to show them what this little guy had done.
Waiting for their breakfast, while they were waiting they decided to snack on a few Rolos. We have fun celebrating St Patty's day even if we have no Irish blood in us.
That little Leprechaun better watch out because next year Talan and I are collecting our Gold!

Duck. Duck.....Fish!

As soon as the temperatures start rising Lincoln wants to feed the ducks. As soon as the car door opens Linx is off chasing the ducks.
This time we decided to go to Flowserve. When we reached the water we wondered if we came to feed the ducks or the carp. There were so many fish you could probably have walked on the water.
We had to hold on to Linx or else he would have gone swimming with the ducks.
Talan was not to fond of the carp so he just feed the ducks that were up on the lawn.
You can just see it on Lincoln's face how much he enjoys feeding the ducks.
