Talan taking a peek at the beautiful coral.
Lincoln watching the jelly fish.
The large jelly fish were Talan's favorite. They had them in a dark room and they would change the color of the lights so it looked like the jelly fish were changing colors.
Lincoln having a look and the giant Octopus.
Touching the Sting Rays was Lincoln's favorite part of the aquarium. He would have gotten in and swam with them if we had allowed it.
Talan on the other hand hated the Sting Rays. After a ton of bribing we finally convinced him to touch one. The Sting Ray liked Talan so much it came all the way out of the water and just about hit him in the face. Needless to say Talan was hysterical. Jason even admitted that it caught him off guard to.
Talan crying and running away from the Sting Rays.
He decided the safest place was on his dad's shoulders.
Jason trying to row his way back to Mexico for a little vacation.
Lincoln and Jason looking at the largest snake I have ever seen.
Lincoln loved to watch the sea turtle and the turtle even liked him. The turtle kept swimming right by Lincoln.
The boys had fun hearing what sounds all the different frogs make. I am sure everyone around us was glad when we moved on to the next exhibit.
Talan is the same size as an adult penguin.
They have this great little play area and Lincoln had fun crawling through the caves and climbing on the rocks.
Talan and I under the sea.
This year we also bought passes to the Living Planet Aquarium so while we were in the area we decided to stop in. Every time we go to the aquarium it gets biggerr and better. This is the first time we saw the penguins exhibit and we were lucky enough to be there during feeding time. The boys liked that there were so many hands on exhibits and they got to splash in the water. We had a great afternoon, I just wish that the aquarium was a little bit closer to home.
