Jason just had a birthday and we had fun celebrating it for days. One night grandma and grandpa Christensen had us over for a birthday dinner. Talan helped grandma get it all ready.
He even dished out the ice cream.
And his little brother was glad that he did.

On Jason's birthday the kids and I decorated the table for him. We did a movie theme, because the next day I was taking him on a kid-less movie date. YAY!!! So we ordered pizza and chesse sticks and enjoyed Sweet Tooth Fairy cupcakes.

I think we went through an entire box of matches relighting the candles so the boys could blow them out.
At first Lincoln just wanted to eat the cupcake, until he saw how fun blowing the candle out was .

First stop was dinner at Applebee's. We enjoyed dinner and not having to cut up little ones food. We often play the game. "Guess if they are on a first date" (We watch different couple and try to figure out what date they are on) and we also play "Who does that stranger look like" So far we have seen the upside down show host look-a-like and a Shila Lebuff look a like. May see dumb but we always get a good laugh.
We even had time to squeeze in a little shopping.
Then we loaded up my purse with movie treats and drinks.Then we were off to see the movie.It was such an enjoyable afternoon. Jason needs to have a birthday every week.
