Halloween

Off to Trick or Treat. So Cute!!
Talan and Addy
The craziness on Main Street. At least we got a few full sized candy bars.

Linx having a little nap.
All the little ones ready to head out Trick or Treating.
And we are off.
The spooky house in Jessica's neighborhood. The kids loved it.
The littlest ones were loving the twinkle lights.
One of Jessica's neighbors is a photographer so he was taking Halloween Photos instead of handing out candy.

A few of the fun photos we had taken.

Trick or Treating at Grandma and Grandpa Jones'.

Halloween was perfect this year. The weather was a nice 72 and sunny, I didn't have to work and both of the boys enjoyed Trick or Treating. We started off  the afternoon by going to Trick or Treat down main street. It was so packed with trick or treaters but we still had a good time filling our buckets with candy. Linx decided it was a great time to take a nap so he missed most of the excitement. After our main street adventure we went to Joe and Jess's for a pumpkin pizza. After we were stuffed with pizza we decided to hit the road. By this time Jason was done with school for the day so he met up with us and finish the night trick or treating with the kids. Everyone had a great time, Lincoln even caught on to the idea and would eagerly run up to the door with his bucket held out. Holidays are so fun with my cute little boys. Happy Halloween!!

Pumpkin Carving

Lincoln's pumpkin is going to be an owl this year.
Talan wanted to have a scary pumpkin.
Jason cutting off the tops so we can scope out all the seeds. Cleaning out the pumpkins is my least favorite part. I wish you could buy them seedless.
Lucky for me both boys helped me clean out the pumpkins.
Jason working on carving the pumpkins.
Oooooooo! Talan and his scary pumpkin.
Of course I have to use a powertool to carve mine.

After we carved pumpkins we stopped by Grandma and Grandpa's  house to see Brayden's Halloween costume.
This cute little puppy enjoying some crackers.
Just catching up on his emails.
Talan was so excited to get home so that we could light our pumpkins.

How I Became a Pirate!!

Talan's first time at In n Out Burger. On our way to In n Out Burger Talan asked where we were eating, we told him In n Out. He sat and thought for a minute and asked why we were going to eat at 2 places. I love how his little mind works. Once we got our food he liked it but he was embarrassed that he had to sit at a table with just Addy. He was embarrassed that people would think he was on a date with her.
Since it was the Saturday before Halloween we decided to take the kids to see "How I Became a Pirate"
It was at the Scera and put on by the Theatre for Young Audiences.
Before the show they had a Pirate display set up with an Eye Spy worksheet you could do. The kids found most of the items and it keep them entertained until it was time for the show.
Addy and Talan with one of the pirates.
The kids with their favorite pirate, Captain Braid Beard. The show was great and the kids loved it. I am sure that we will go to more of the Scera's plays for Young Audiences.
Earlier in the day we went to the Grand Opening of the Springville Library.Talan was so excited to go in. We usually go the the Library once a week so not being able to visit it for over a month was hard. We were in desperate need of some new books.
The grounds outside of the Library were so pretty.
The boys loved watching the river flow below the deck.
Talan was excited to follow the footprints into the Library.
Talan thought that the book return was so cool. Instead of your books falling in a box, a conveyor belt takes them away.
This is were the books come after they have been returned so that they can be sorted and re-shelved.
I loved that the Library has tons of sitting areas. I would love to spend a snowy day sitting in one of these chairs reading and watching the snow fall outside.
Talan upstairs overlooking the Library.
Jason and Linx checking out the kids section. The new Library was so beautiful I am sure that we will have some fun times when we visit. I am so thankful that my kids love to read and enjoy books so much.
After the library we decided to have lunch at the new Big Al's BBQ. Talan thought that the car they had out front was cool.
After lunch we stopped in Sam's Club. Linx found this bike and wanted to ride it around the store.
It was a busy but fun day out on the town. The kids love to be on the go. When Linx wakes up he looks for his shoes and wants to go somewhere.
